20 Tips to Improve Self-Esteem

People look for tips to improve their self-esteem when they are in hard times and want to improve themselves in one of areas in life by improving thyself. The reason of one learning the tips are not important but the willingness and taking the actions to eventually be a better and more confident person with higher self esteem. Here are the 20 tips to improve the self-esteem.
- Use sentence stamps
If I had a higher self-esteem I wouldn't... (here you write several things such as -Waste my time on unnecessary things" or -Help others for the sake of getting something in return")
Use your imagination and create these sentence stamps in any area of life from business to relationship with the family and reread them once a day.
- Affirmations
Affirmations are words which we or others say to ourselves and which the mind collects and eventually really believes in.

- Reflect on your strengths
People today often just watch their negative sidesbecause it is what most of people look at. Try to change that, look at your own strenghts and you will be able to be better to others as well. Write down your strengths and the things you are good at.
- Look at the opportunities
The world is full of opportunities which you can achieve with hard work, look at the numerous opportunities present for you and go for the one you really like.
- Destroy your weaknesses
This is simple. Take time to list your weaknesses, accept them and than start to work on them.
- Look at your social network
Our social network is full of random people. Reflect on the people who are good to you and get more close with them.
- Develop a stronger image for yourself
Don't look so low on yourself. It is not always as we think as it is, and we are more important than we think we are.
- Do what you want to do
Don't do things you really don't want to do because of others asking you to do it if it is really not necessary.
- Think for yourself
It is important that we think of others first, but we must take care of ourselves as well. How can we save people if we don't save ourselves.
- Be yourself
Every single person in the world is unique and so are you even if you think that you are not. Be happy because of that uniqueness and don't try to be a person others like because you want to be liked, be the type of person others like by being just yourself.
- Think positively
Don't waste another minute saying bad things to yourself because it can be really serious after numerous times. Look at the bright side of life.
- Work on your personal development
The purpose of ones life really is about personal development, do things to improve yourself. First develop your inner strenghts and than work on outer, or alltogether.
- Reward yourself after a success
After you have done what is really positive for your development, reward and treat yourself with something you like.
- Do things which you haven't done before
Talk to a new student in school, meet a new person while waiting for the bus, you have nothing to lose.
- Take challenges
By taking challenges and trying them, you will feel more proud of yourself. Challenge yourself on anything fun and challengeable, use your imagination and go out, the are hundreds of things you can do.
- Love your music appetite
There is a type of music for anybody and I am sure that you have your own favorite music genre as well. Listen to music you love in times when you are down.
- Help others
It doesn't need to be anything huge, just help someone unselfishly and feel the warmth of gratefulness which the other person feels.
- Watch inspirational movies
I really love inspirational true story movies, hmm i think that every true story is there to inspire someone.
- Give compliments
The world is about give and take actions, be yourself and compliment if you really feel it and also accept compliments.
- Be grateful
This is very important and useful. Look at the TV and feel the pain of the people who suffer. What appears on TV is 0.01% of the real suffering in the world. Accept that and accept that your life can always be worse and be grateful of everything you have. Start from looking at the mirror and being grateful of everything you see.
